Bude is a beautiful spot to visit during your stay in a Cornwall holiday park, or even to stay at if you want to be close to some great beaches and plenty of things to do. If you’re going to be in Bude during the upcoming bank holiday weekend, between June 1st and 5th, then you’ll also be able to enjoy one of its best annual events: the Bude and Stratton Folk Festival.
This is a small and friendly festival that aims to be as accessible as possible, meaning there aren’t high ticket prices for events and you’ll find plenty of ways for everybody to get involved.
You can head to any of the gigs taking place throughout Bude, or even get involved yourself in some shanty sing-alongs, musical workshops or even a celidh, the Celtic equivalent of a barn dance. It’s sure to be fun for anyone who enjoys a bit of folk, and you can get a full calendar of events at the Bude and Stratton Folk Festival website.
