The Local Area at Golden Coast Holiday Park
Golden Coast is one of the smaller Devon holiday parks that make up our three Ilfracombe Holiday Parks. It’s right next to Ilfracombe Holiday Park and by staying at Golden Coast you get to use all the facilities of Ilfracombe Holiday Park for free, including the heated swimming pool, sauna and the Exmoor Club (with free nightly entertainment).
Ilfracombe itself has plenty to keep you busy. There’s the Embassy Cinema, showing the latest blockbusters, and the harbour and waterfront for fish, chips and ice creams. You can go shopping on the high street or head down to Ilfracombe’s public beach or the private Tunnels Beaches, both great for swimming, paddling and playing on the pebbles.
Staying in an Ilfracombe Holiday Park lets you take the ten minute drive to Woolacombe and enjoy the three miles of sandy beach there. Or you can head in the other direction and explore Combe Martin and its many pubs or Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.
