The pretty little village of St Ives is right by our St Ives Holiday Village. You can get there easily and then spend the day on the pebbled beach and by the picturesque harbour, or visit the world famous Tate Gallery. There are also all the fish and chip shops and waterfront amusements that you’d expect from a seaside village.
Travel a bit further and you’ll reach Hayle Towans and Carbis Bay, both of which are lovely beaches of golden sand with great surf. You can also explore the coast to find more of the hidden coves which are scattered around the area and have some brilliant beaches hidden away within them. It's the perfect thing to do during your Cornwall holidays.
If you feel like you need to get away from the ocean for a while, there’s always the Eden Project, famous across the world for its biomes and having provided some of the sets for the James Bond movie ‘Die Another Day’. There are plenty of other attractions too, including The Flambards Experience, Land’s End, The National Seal Sanctuary and so much more.
Newquay, a town renowned for its nightlife and surfing beaches, isn’t too far away, nor is Penzance, from which you can take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly.
