Battling it out on the 23^rd of June 12 crews will be pushed to their limits as they race down the normally calm waters of Exeter Quay.  Dating back more than 2000 years, dragon boat racing is now, reportedly, the second most popular sport on the planet.

Unfortunately, the deadline to enter has just passed but this shouldn’t stop you from showing your support. Each crew is racing for their own charity of choice in these elaborately decorated canoes. If you need a break from all the excitement then you are only a few minutes walk from the city centre, where you can indulge in cream teas on Exeter’s Cathedral Green.

All the family should be prepared for entrainment with bouncy castles, fancy dress competitions and ice cream aplenty (let’s hope the sun is shining). So if you are staying at a Devon holiday park on the 23^rd of June and want an exhilarating day out then this event not to be missed!
