Hartland Abbey has long been celebrated for its fabulous displays of flowers during later winter and early spring, and this year should be no different as the snowdrops begin to bloom. February 11th and 12th are the Snowdrop Weekend, when you and your family can come along to see the snowdrops, early daffodils and any other spring flowers that might decide to rear their blooms.
Some of the snowdrops were planted hundreds of years ago, and every year the bloom around the grounds of the abbey. There are plenty of great walking routes for you to take that will get you the most out of the area, so you can take the opportunity to get plenty of fresh air and exercise during your stay in a Devon caravan park.
Also at Hartland Abbey is Barton Cottage, which was used in recent years by the BBC as the home of the Dashwood family in Sense and Sensibility.
