Heritage Open Days in Cornwall

Tue 7th August 2012

The properties that the English Heritage looks after offer a fascinating view of English culture, history and architecture. The body maintain historic properties throughout England and ensure that they are available for future generations to enjoy. A big part of this is the annual Heritage Open Days that are organised for the public.St Mawes Castle is just one of the wonderful English Heritage buildings you can visit on your Cornwall holidays.

Between September 6th and 9th this year, properties throughout the country will be open for viewing and there will not be any entrance fees. Whilst many of the properties will be open as usual, minus the normal cost of entry, some are only opened to the public as part of these open days, giving you an opportunity to enter rarely seen English Heritage properties.

If this sounds like it might appeal to you during your stay in a Cornwall caravan park, head to the Heritage Open Days website and find out which are available for you and your family to head to.
