Lafrowda Festival in Penzance

Are you heading to a John Fowler Cornwall caravan park this July? The Lafrowda Festival in St Just, Penzance is a must-see! Lantern making is just one of the things you can get up to at the Lafrowda festival on your Cornwall holidays.

The community arts festival celebrates all forms of art, including drama, dance, music, painting, sculpting, photography and many more.

Running throughout July (Starting 6^th July) and ending with spectacular parade on Saturday 21st July, there are a wide range of activities on each day to cater for all ages.

The fun starts on 6^th July with storytelling at the library and art workshops, you can also take part in creating the famous lanterns for the parade. Watch the professional skateboarders perform at the Skate and Scooter jam or be a rock star, if only for a moment, on the Karaoke at the Commercial Hotel. Other activities include Family Yoga, Space-hopper Racing, tug-of-war and many many more!

The parades run at 12pm, 3pm and a special lantern parade runs at 10pm on Saturday 21^st July.
