A free event (though a donation is requested) has been organised by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust that aims to teach people what a valuable role trees have in nature. If you’re going to be staying in a Cornwall caravan park on Tuesday 14th February, then this is the perfect chance for you to learn a bit more about just why Cornwall’s beautiful countryside is worth looking after.
The walk is from 10 am to 12 noon and should be suitable for any age. It’s a leisurely route through woodland, with plenty of stops and pauses to talk about what is all around you. The meeting point is at the Old Sawmill, a National Trust property in Danescombe Valley on the Cotehele Estate.
Sturdy walking shoes are recommended, as is wearing something to keep out the chill. Even though walking will warm you up, a cold breeze can easily snatch all of that away again.
