Travelling to the South West to enjoy Cornwall holidays is a great idea for a number of reasons. There are plenty of great attractions, lots of good accommodation to stay in, one of the country’s best coastlines to explore and, of course, the abundance of nature and wildlife that you will find throughout Cornwall’s rural areas.
With that in mind, the Cornwall Wildlife Trust are giving you the chance to give something back to nature during your Cornwall holiday by giving you the opportunity to build a bird box as part of National Nest Box Week. Bird boxes are a great help for native species of birds as they give them somewhere safe and warm to lay their eggs and raise their chicks, ensuring their continued existence.
The course runs at Gyllyngdune Gardens in Falmouth on Wednesday 15th February. There’s one session at 11am and another at 2pm, and each one lasts for two hours. Booking is essential, and can be done on 01882 273939 extension 203.
