Robin Hood Pantomime in Devon

Tue 31st January 2012

Robin Hood is a classic English tale that has been recreated time and time again in all sorts of mediums. Now, anybody enjoying Devon holidays at the start of February can visit Newton Abbot’s Avenue Church to see a pantomime of the famous tale, with some interesting twists, of course!A quiver of arrows, like that Robin Hood will use when you see him in a pantomime on your Devon holiday.

You’ll meet Geoffrey the Archer, the Singing Nun and the Fish and Chip vendor, as well as seeing how the evil Prince John brought the Olympic Games to England for the first time. Of course, the tale of Robin Hood outfoxing the Sherriff of Nottingham and fighting for the people of the city won’t get lost in all this, and peace and justice will prevail in the end.

For more information, call 01626 360400. Performances are from February 1st to 4th at 7.30pm, with an additional 2.30pm on Saturday 4th. Adult tickets are £6 and Children’s are £4.00.
