The Local Area at Ilfracombe Holiday Park
Ilfracombe Holiday Park has everything you could possible want to enjoy during your Devon holidays, but if you do find yourself wanting to venture out into the town then you’ll find Ilfracombe has plenty to offer.
For a start, the cinema on the high street is a great way to spend an evening. You can take in the latest blockbusters whilst munching on popcorn and even have a drink in their licensed screen. The high street also has plenty of shops to visit during the day. In the evening, the high street hosts Ilfracombe’s nightlife with pubs and clubs opening their doors.
The waterfront and harbour have exactly what you’d expect from a seaside resort, including fish & chips, ice cream and arcades. From there, it’s just a short walk to Ilfracombe’s public beach or the private Tunnels Beaches, both great for paddling, swimming and playing on the pebble shore.
Outside Ilfracombe itself, you can visit Woolacombe and its three mile long sandy beach, or drive to Combe Martin and explore the village with its collection of old pubs. A littler further up the hill from the village you can visit Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park for a great family day out.
