The South West has plenty of unique agricultural events taking place throughout the summer, and they’re a great way for you and your family to experience some true Cornish tradition whilst enjoying your Cornwall holidays with us. The upcoming Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show is just one example of these events, but it’s a great day out if you’re in the area around August 23^rd.

Whilst you’ll find prizes being given out to sheep, cows and other animals, there’s also much more to the show; displays of gymnastics, falconry, motorbike stunts and dancing will all be on offer as well, along with plenty of activities for children. You could also watch the horse and dog displays or the showjumping.

There’s plenty going on, and local food and drink producers set up stalls in tents to keep you refreshed, so head along to The Showground in Killatree Cross, Holsworthy during your stay in one of our Cornwall or Devon holiday parks and have a great day out.
