Parks Reviews
It was our first time coming to a John Fowler holiday after to previously going to Haven holiday parks. All I can say is that this was an Excellent park with great facilities. The caravan was very spacious they give you free bath towels , tea coffee and biscuits as a welcoming gift. The Park was very child friendly with a free heated outdoor pool (special shout to the life guard James who was very friendly and helpful)l. and a free indoor soft play area, football pitch and small gym. You have to use the John Fowler app to book into the pool , soft play and gym. The staff at reception around the park are very friendly and very prompt to respond if there is a problem. Swansea is the nearest city is about 10 miles from the park where is lots to do there. There are plenty of lovely local beaches around the Area all about 30 min away we visited Caswell beach (pictured) which is very good for families. The bigger supermarkets are in Swansea and Gorseinon for bigger shops and there is a local convenience store in the park for bits and bobs. The area around the park is beautiful very open and surreal with lovely views. All in all I recommend coming to the park as it is great stay and very family friendly 👍
Lovely weekend away, the caravans were clean and the grounds well maintained. Beautiful location with plenty of open space for the kids to run off some energy. The staff in the Purple Badger were fantastic at accommodating a large party and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best John Fowler sites, I've ever visited. The Staff are very friendly and approachable. We had a small problem with our Caravan but Maintenance were there quickly and rectified the problem. Our Caravan was a platinum ( No Decking but picnic bench outside our caravan) and was virtually brand new. Parking was plentiful. Beds & pillows super comfortable although I wished fitted sheets were used. The facilities were great, The pool was amazing and super clean, crazy golf and play area great my 4yr old grandson loved it). We didnt use the club or restaurant as we wanted to discover the area. Beach walked was literally 10mins ( Im recovering from a hip replacement so a little slower than most) away through a lovely little woodland. We will definitely return here. I will say that you do have to travel through a single track road to get here. It wasn't a problem for us.
Just stayed here for a week and although the weather wasn't great we still had a great time, the swimming pool was great and we thoroughly enjoyed using it. The golf course and park was great and the beach was literally 10 minutes walk, the beach was lovely and clean and there was a lovely shop supporting RNLI. There was also a nice cafe that sold ice creams, pastries and drinks. The bar and restaurant was great and the food was 10/10, quite possibly the best food I've eaten at a restaurant. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The caravan was clean and well presented, the only minor thing was there was no tea towel or oven mitts so had to buy one also had to buy sponges and washing up liquid from the shop. Overall we had a lovely holiday despite weather not being great we made the most of it, would definitely recommend to others and would love to come back again.
