When are your parks open again?
We plan to open our parks in England from the 12th April as long as government guidance permits.
We are two households travelling together, can we still come?
Initially, we can only accept bookings from a single household. From the 17th May we can accept bookings from two households providing the guidance does not change between now and then.
I am booked to come before 12th April, what are my options?
If you are due to arrive before the 12th April, we will be in touch to offer you to either change the date of your holiday or arrange a full refund. We will be contacting people in date order of arrival.
When will your park in Wales re-open?
The Welsh First Minister has not published a planned re-opening date for self contained accommodation in Wales yet but has indicated he hopes to be able to open for Easter. As soon as a date is confirmed, we will update our website.
When can touring caravans, motorhomes and campers come on holiday?
If you have a tourer or motorhome with your own facilities, you can come from 12th April onwards. We are not allowed to open our shower blocks or plate wash facilities before the 17th May in phase 3.
Can I come on my glamping holiday?
As our safari tents and pods all use shared washroom facilities, these accommodations will not re-open until phase 3 planned for 17th May.
Will your swimming pools be open?
The government road map allows the opening of leisure centres including indoor swimming pools from the start of phase 2 (planned for 12th April). Bathing load will be limited initially and we will be operating a pool booking system. We have extended our pool opening hours to alow for extra capacity.
When will the bar be able to open?
Our bars will be open for outdoor table service from 12th April but we cannot open our indoor bar service until phase 3 which we hope to be on 17th May.
Will there be entertainment on?
We plan to start our live entertainment including children's entertainment and activities when we re-open our bars indoors on 17th May.
Can I make a new booking?
Yes you can make a booking for any time arriving after the 12th February. If you are coming in the next 8 weeks, you will need to pay in full, if it is further away, it is a £50 deposit. All new bookings are covered by our Coronavirus Holiday Protection Scheme.
I am due to arrive soon but am in a risk group and don’t want to travel.
It is important that everyone stays safe so you will be offered the opportunity to move your holiday to another date (up to the end of 2021). This can be done right up to 21 days before your arrival date.
My balance is due – do I need to pay it?
Yes for all holidays due to arrive on or after 12th February, you must pay your balance or your booking may be cancelled for non payment and you would forfeit any money already paid. Don’t worry though, if the parks are still closed when you are due to travel, you will be offered our standard Coronavirus cancellation options which include a full refund.
I am a key worker and cannot get time off work.
First of all thank you for all the great work you are doing to keep us going at such difficult times. If you are unable to come on the date you are due to arrive you will be offered the opportunity to move your holiday to another date (up to the end of 2021). For those that booked directly through John Fowler Holidays, we will offer a 20% credit towards the cost of your holiday if it is more expensive. If it is cheaper, we will refund the difference. This can be done right up to 21 days before your arrival date.
A member of my household/party has symptoms of Coronavirus, can I still come if we isolate on park?
If you have or any member of your party or household has symptoms of the Cornoavirus (or has been symptomatic in the last 14 days) please do not travel to the park. We will be able to change the date on your booking to another date (up to the end of 2021). For those that booked directly through John Fowler Holidays, we will offer a 20% credit towards the cost of your holiday if it is more expensive. If it is cheaper, we will refund the difference.
What steps are you taking to keep the parks safe?
We take the safety of our guests and team extremely seriously. We have been working hard to ensure our parks provide the perfect environment to safely relax as you enjoy your first holiday since lockdown. We have put extra measures in place to observe the 2 metre social distancing rules and we have upped our cleaning regimes to allow us to spend more time sanitising public areas and will be deep cleaning every accommodation unit between bookings.
I am an owner, can I self isolate in my accommodation on your parks?
No, you must self isolate at home in your primary residence as per government advice.
I am due to arrive between 5th November and 2nd December - what are my options?
If you are booked to arrive in England during the current lockdown, you will be entilted to a change of dates or full refund. A member of our team will be in touch to discuss this with you.
Can I travel to your park in Wales from England after the 9th November?
No unfortunately you will not be able to travel to our park in Wales from England during the current lockdown. If you live in Wales and restrictions are lifted, you can book to stay at our Llanrhidian Holiday Park.
What if travel restrictions are still in place after 2nd December?
We really hope this won’t be the case, but if it is, you will be entitled to our standard Coronavirus cancellation options.
