Jean Genie (David Bowie Full Tribute & Band)
Jean Genie was created by John Mainwaring and John Ford in 1993. An original recording artist in his own right, John Mainwaring has been signed by numerous record companies throughout his career - twice with Warner Bros.
In the late 1990s John was approached by David Bowie's most famous band of the 1970s, 'The Spiders from Mars' and was asked by them if he'd front the band and tour with them. Obviously John's answer was 'Yes' and John remains to this day to be one of only a few tribute artists to tour and perform with an original artist's band.
Jean Genie perform an incredible tribute to David Bowie complete with dazzling, flamboyant costumes and stunning effects. Critically acclaimed as the UK’s top Bowie tribute.

Bootleg Counterfeit Sweet

Syd Twynham turned pro musician in 74 after he joined pop rock band Hector, touring extensively in the UK and abroad. In 1976 he split from Hector and joined rock outfit Babe Ruth, with Ellie Hope and Ray Knott. When Babe Ruth disbanded Syd and other members formed Liquid Gold who then went on to achieve chart success with a string of hits, it was around this time that Syd first met Les Gray, Rob Davis, Ray Stiles and Dave Mount, collectively known as MUD
Whilst still a member of Liquid Gold Syd joined the line-up of mud in the early eighties playing on stage alongside Les, Rob, Dave, and Ray. The sad passing of Les Gray left a huge void on the 70's circuit, but the sound of those hits so well performed by Les and the original Mud members will continue today courtesy of the Les Gray estate as after consultation with original band members and Les Gray's estate it was decided to put the current line up together and tour as MUD II featuring members of Les Gray's Mud.
