Roger’s showbiz career started in Norway in 1969, and by 1972 he was Danish International DJ champion. Fluent in five languages, Roger is a bit of a surprise package, and since his DJ start has now a successful second career as a Line dance instructor, compere AND DJ.
Friday 23rd March
Knoxville Highway Band (eve)
The Birmingham based Country Music band performs a repertoire of classic songs that are great for dancing or listening. A foot tapping, free - wheelin', good time band, guaranteed to provide great musicianship and entertainment for any occasion and to fill dance floors at any Line Dance or Country & Western event. No backing tracks, just a whole lot of fun with a great and authentic sound.
Saturday 24th March
Bearfoot & Crazy (afternoon)
Mickey Page was born early on a Saturday morning on 13th June 1959, at home in a caravan, and was the eldest of five children. He began singing at a young age and The first two songs he learnt were Distant Drums by Jim Reeves and Birmingham Jail by Slim Whitman.
Mickey's passion for the music is still strong and since meeting his new wife Hazel he is now devoting more time to his talent and sharing it with wider audiences.
Charlie is Mickey’s daughter, and not only brings some glamour to the act, but also a great voice to augment Mickey’s, and musical talent too – in the form of good quality acoustic guitar playing. Lovely father/daughter duets are a stand out throughout the show.
Box Car Kelly & The Railroaders
Kelly Cobbett a.k.a Boxcar Kelly is fast becoming well known around the UK. As well as fronting her own band (formerly known as the Railroaders), she is part of the popular duo Roots and Wings, formerly known as Tennessee Country.
Sunday 25th March
Barlow & Lee (afternoon)
Over the years both of these seasoned artists have fronted their own award winning bands and travelled the length and breadth of Britain and Europe entertaining audiences with a delightful mix of both classic and modern country.
They have been good friends for many years so back in 2015 they decided to team up and actually what they had been talking about for years. So Barlow and Lee were born and these fun loving guys have not looked back since.
Johnny & Lynette's Rocky Road Ramblers (eve)
Jonny and Lynnette have become a winning formula on the country music scene since they combined their solo careers to become a duo back in 2009 and since then have never looked back winning both solo and duo awards.
With their passion and love for traditional country and rockabilly music along with a hint of hillbilly The Rocky Road Ramblers were formed. The husband and wife team are proud to be joined by Adrian, Lynnette's younger brother, who with his slick lead guitar licks and awesome lap steel playing really brings this band to life.
