British Fireworks Championships
The National Firework Championships are set on Plymouth Hoe which is a natural amphitheatre and allows the displays can be watched from a variety of points around the harbour. They are now recognised as the premier annual firework display in the UK, attracting 10s of thousands to the City each August. Each year six professional companies are selected to take part and put on an incredible display of pyrotechnics. Entertainment is put on on both evenings and usually includes a fun fair with thrill rides and live music. They is also a variery of food on offer.
2017 will be the 20th year for the Championships and is set to set the sky alight. Plymouth is about 25 miles from our holiday parks in Looe and Polperro and each year many of our guests from Trelawne Manor and Killigarth Manor travel to see the show.
