North Devon & Exmoor Walking Festival
The North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival was established in 2000 and since then has provided a week to 10 days of guided walks each year in magnificent scenery. You can explore the unique coastline and countryside surrounding our Devon holiday parks, as the Exmoor & North Devon Walking Festival returns to the region for the 17th year.
It always takes place around the May Day Bank Holiday. At this time of year the weather is usually perfect for walking and the wild flowers are at their best.
Walks range from a half day walk of about 4 miles to all day walks of up to 10 miles long. Exmoor is surprisingly hilly, so a 7 mile walk will feel more like a 9 or 10 mile walk to most people. The festival covers 32 guided walks from famous Croyde Bay in North Devon to Watchet in West Somerset. The walks are led by experienced locals, Exmoor rangers and wardens from the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our Sandaway & Combe Martin Beach parks are in the heart of North Devon and just under 5 miles from Exmoor.
