Vanity Fare

A great British pop harmony group whose international hits Hitchin' a Ride and Early in the Morning both sold over a million copies each worldwide and earned them two Gold Discs.

The bands current stage show reflects much of their 45 year history and features their own hits from the 60's & 70's plus a varied selection of the best pop music from the last fifty years. Vanity Fare is a band whose career began in the late sixties and can still boast having three members who have been working together for more than four decades! Together they make a highly professional group, with an impressive history and an outstanding stage show.

Cupids Inspiration

The group scored two Top 40 hits on the UK Singles Chart in 1968. "Yesterday Has Gone", originally a hit for Little Anthony and The Imperials, reached #4 in June of that year, and "My World" went to #33 in October.

The Fourmost

The Fourmost had its roots steeped in the eclectic 1960's Mersey beat boom and was part of the Brian Epstein stable along with The Beatles, Billy J Kramer, Gerry and The Pacemakers and others. The band has evolved from enjoying 1960's chart hits such as Hello Little Girl (no.9) and A Little Loving (no.6) and less popular songs as Baby I Need Your Lovin, Here There and Everywhere and a cover of George Formby's Auntie Maggie's Remedy.

The Fourmost are one of the most authentic 1960's bands currently on the circuit today, from their Vox amps, Rickenbacker guitars and Ludwig drums down to their Italian made slim fitted suits and Cuban heel boots.

The New Amen Corner Featuring Mike Darbo

Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair if you are going to a New Amen Corner concert because you'll soon be in a "Summer of Love" mood; for their music is full of that Feel Good Factor. The New Amen Corner have emerged in the last couple of years as the hottest band on the 60's circuit because of their ability to recreate so perfectly the sound and atmosphere of that era.

Their power house live show has made them one of the most exciting bands around, with their period clothing and with them encouraging fans to don 60's attire, their shows really breath life back, into what must be music's most prolific decade.

The musicians of the New Amen Corner have a musical pedigree second to none and have been band members with the likes of Robert Plant, Jeff Beck, Mike Oldfield, Alexsis Korner, Roy Wood, Alvin Stardust, Ruby Turner, Jaki Graham and Screaming Lord Sutch to name but a few!!!!

Sunday 7th March

The McCoys

When you think of the 1960's, you think of the golden era of music with so many hits. For those fortunate to be there, the Swinging Sixties was a magical time for popular music, a truly golden age which spun hit after hit. And one of the most memorable was The McCoys' interpretation of Hang OnSloopy, which became a monster success, and is still hugely popular today.

And it was being there, loving that wonderful time and its songs, which led to four talented British musicians fostering their special memories, preserving them for live audiences to enjoy anew today, keeping alive the McCoys name, with Hang On Sloopy and Spencer Davis's Keep on Running being just two examples of a superb repertoire from the Sixties.

The New Casuals

The Casuals are a four piece British pop group from the 1960's and early 70's, best known for their hit "Jesamine" which reached No.2 in the UK in 1968. They now perform their memorable hits from the 1960's in the most unforgettable way.
