2017 World Pasty Championships – Saturday 4th March

Hey girls & boys! It has been a while since we last spoke but I have been chilling out ready for the opening of our holiday parks next week. Just over a week to go until we open our doors and I'm so excited to see you all! We have lots of awesome things coming up in and around our parks for 2017 and what better way to kick off the season at our Cornwall caravan parks than the World Pasty Championships at the Eden Project on Saturday 4th March.

This is the 6th annual celebration of Cornwall's most famous dish and the championship includes 9 categories with the traditional recipe and some more unusual varieties of pasties from around the world. The Cornish Pasty Association invites entrants from around the world for both amateurs and professional bakers to showcase their recipes. What better place to host the event than at Cornwall's Eden Project, only a 30 minute drive from our Trelawne Manor Holiday Park.

The doors will open at 9.30am and there will be live music and entertainment throughout the day as well as craft activities and kid's pasty making workshops, a celebration of all things Cornish!

Entries for the World Pasty Championships are now open and will close on Thursday 2nd March at midday. Click here for more information on how to enter.

I would love for you to post pictures of your favourite pasties to our Facebook page and tell me which pasty is your champion!
