Things you need to know before booking your 2025 holiday!
With the way time is flying, the new holiday season will soon be upon us! But what do you need to know about booking your 2025 holiday? We’ve got some handy tips to get you set for your next big adventure!
Location, location, location
The big question: do you want a beach holiday, somewhere with plenty of places to explore off the beaten track, heaps of big attractions nearby, or an adventure holiday?
Luckily our parks cover all of these! With many of them just a couple of miles from the sea, spanning from Wales to the South West, there’s plenty of choice available. Do you fancy the rugged beauty of Wales, or the rolling hills of Somerset? Perhaps the water sporting opportunities of Devon or the deep history of Cornwall?
Take some time to read through our individual park pages to see what’s on offer in the local areas with our handy guides and start planning your next holiday of a lifetime. There’s so much to see!
Think about what sort of holiday you’re after
This might sound obvious, but deciding what kind of holiday you’re after narrows down all the possible locations you can choose between. Do you want a family holiday packed with fun? Somewhere with plenty of entertainment for adults and kids? Perhaps peace and quiet on a relaxing break for two?
Did you know that our holiday parks are organised into specific categories to cater for your required holiday type? Our parks come under Big and Lively, Family Fun Parks, and Quiet and Relaxing, all of which host different sized entertainment teams and programmes during peak and off-peak periods. You can see which is which below:
Big and Lively: our bigger parks, packed with full entertainment and activity programmes
Sandy Glade
South Bay
St Ives Holiday Village
Trelawne Manor
Family Fun Parks: our medium-sized parks with a slightly smaller entertainment team but still packed full of fun
Sandaway Beach
Widemouth Bay
Quiet and Relaxing: our smaller, more intimate parks where you can still catch visiting entertainment on a much smaller scale than our other parks
Cardigan Bay
Combe Martin Beach
Killigarth Manor
Llanrhidian
Perran View
Tolroy Manor
Visit the individual park pages to find out what entertainment and activities each offers throughout the season.
Pack it up, pack it in
Knowing what to pack for your holiday is essential. We have a range of self-catering accommodation from glamping to diamond lodges with hot tubs, all designed to give you that home-from-home feel. But what do you need to bring with you?
All our lodges, caravans, chalets and traditional houses are fully equipped with all the basic kitchen essentials, from pots and pans to cutlery. You will need to bring your own towels, tea towels, oven gloves, washing up utensils and dish cloths, though you can pay extra for our staff to provide you with towel rental. Linen is provided across all grades of accommodation and the beds will be made up pre-arrival if staying in our diamond, platinum and gold grades.
We also have dog-friendly holiday parks, so if your four-legged friend is joining you then don’t forget to bring everything you need for them and ensure you book into our pet-friendly accommodation. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads across site and check on the individual park pages to see what inside areas they are allowed into. With on-site walks and open areas, they’ll be super excited for their holiday no matter where you choose to stay!
Don’t forget the obvious essentials of self-catering accommodation too – we have on-site shops for any groceries and holiday-must haves, perfect if you left the sun cream at home or the kids are desperate for a rubber ring for the pool! We also have fantastic restaurants, bars, clubhouses and takeaways across our parks, so if you fancy a proper holiday treat then we’ve got you covered!
All you need to do now is pick a holiday park and book your stay! We look forward to seeing you soon.
