4 Things To Do in Cornwall Over the Easter Weekend
Well, you guys must be on countdown now? Just a few more hours before you set off for a cracking Easter break at our holiday parks in Cornwall!
You might be wondering what's on over the bank holiday weekend, and in true Cornish style we're not short of options.
I've picked out my top 4 things to do in the county, check them out below... (WARNING: May contain traces of chocolate)
Take Part in Crealy's Easter Egg Hunt
Visit Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park from 03-06 April, and take part in their annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Guests of all ages are welcome to get involved (yes that includes you Dad!), following the trail and solving puzzles on an adventure around the park. Those that complete the hunt are rewarded with a tasty Easter treat, adding to an already impressive stack of eggs, I'm sure.
After the chocolate settles you can take on some of the park's high flying rides. Take in Cornwall's Crealy from the sky on 'Wave Rider', 'Thunder Falls' and 'The Beast'.
Visit Trereife Easter Food & Craft Fair
If you're visiting Kenegie Manor, a fun-filled family day out at Trereife Easter Food & Craft Fair is just around the corner!
Trereife House holds its fifth annual Bank Holiday Food & Craft Fair from 03-06 April, and is set to cement its reputation as one of the top events for visitors on Cornwall holidays.
Since its start-up, the event has attracted some of the finest local food producers and chefs, which continues this year with highly entertaining demonstrations and selling stalls. All ingredients will be locally sourced, promoting the fact “Cornish is bestâ€!
Topping the list of every youngster will the Grand Easter Egg Hunt, where clues will send the sweet-toothed visitors on an adventure around the house's spectacular grounds.
On top of this there will be a programme of live music and a series of craft demonstrations.
Experience The Great Eden Egg Hunt
Don't miss out on the much anticipated Great Eden Egg Hunt, at the Eden Project from 28 Mar-12 April.
Easter themed activities are being held across the site, with the highlights being the Outside Egg Hunt and the Eggstreme Egg & Spoon, where you're tasked with keeping an egg intact while tackling the giant inflatable obstacle course! Elsewhere you can Hook an Egg, get crafty and learn everything you need to know about chocolate.
As you walk around Eden keep your eyes peeled for the golden eggs. There will be 20 scattered throughout the attraction and if you're lucky enough to discover one, you'll win a place at the Piñata Eggstravaganza.
Help Us Celebrate Trixie's Birthday
Easter is not Easter at John Fowler Holidays without a birthday bonanza for our resident bunny, Trixie. Don't shout about it just yet though, we're keeping it a surprise!
There will be celebrations and an abundance of activities going on at most of our caravan parks in Cornwall, including egg hunts, chocolate parties, fancy dress competitions and much much more – you can see the full schedule of events at each park here.
