Ahoy! The Brixham Pirate Festival 2014
I hope I won't end up having to walk the plank after this, but I'm pretty sure I've found the perfect family event if your spending your bank holiday weekend at South Bay Holiday Park.
The 3 day Brixham Pirate Festival comes ashore 3rd May and looks to be a swashbuckling mix of bank holiday fun and entertainment – so ink it in at the top of your self catering holidays to-do scroll!
The festival is staged throughout Brixham and the streets will be lined with pirates, reenactors, cannons and much more.
There will plenty to do for the whole family including a varied live music schedule, jugglers, buskers, puppet shows, plays, historical re-enactments, fancy dress competitions and even a chance to bag a Guinness world record!
So get your pirate patches on and let Brixham take you hostage during your self catering short breaks.
