BBC’s Flog It! coming to National Maritime Museum Cornwall
Popular BBC One daytime programme Flog It! is coming to Cornwall tomorrow, January 15th!
Many of you will have visited the wonderful National Maritime Museum during your UK caravan holidays, taking in the region's proud maritime heritage. In a shake-up to its usual day-to-day schedule, the museum has been tasked with hosting an episode of Flog It, expected to be seen by over 2 million viewers.
Presenter Paul Martin, who grew up in Falmouth, will be joined by antique experts Caroline Hawley, Charles Hanson and Philip Serrell.
Members of the public will be invited to bring along three pieces, with the hope of unearthing that elusive antique or collectable.
Once the item is valued the owner and team of experts can decide whether to put the item forward for auction which takes place a few weeks later.
Admission to Flog It! is free and takes place throughout the day, from 10am to 4.30pm.
Selected pieces will go under the hammer at Jeffery's Auctioneers in Lostwithiel, close to our South East Cornwall caravan parks, on February 11th.
