Berrow to welcome TV wildlife expert for talk on Barn Owl protection
Wildlife enthusiasts visiting our holiday parks in Somerset will be excited to hear news of an evening with TV wildlife presenter Chris Sperring MBE, scheduled in Berrow next month.
The naturalist/broadcaster/presenter/writer/photographer and Conservation Officer for the Hawk and Owl Trust will be talking openly about his campaign to protect Barn Owls across the county.
The event has been organised by Berrow Conservation Group and will be held on Thursday 19th March. Chris will be discussing the ongoing work to ensure Barn Owls remain a part of Somerset's diverse wildlife.
Berrow Conservation Group Spokesperson, Ann Griffiths, said the organisation is looking forward to welcoming Chris to the area.
âWhile recalling the triumphs and tribulations of the progress of the Barn Owl over recent months, Chris will be promoting the latest project that is aiming to provide more nest boxes for these wonderful birds,â she added.
The evening, hosted close to our Somerset caravan park in Berrow Village Hall, is open to everyone, with events kicking off at 7.30pm. Entry fee of £3 applies.
