Best beachside John Fowler holiday parks
Nothing beats a holiday by the beach. Soft sand between your toes, the sound of the sea, and all the ice-cream, fish & chips and stick rock you can eat! We’re proud to be able to offer our guests some of the best beaches around, directly on the doorstep of their accommodation.
Which will you choose for your next coastal break?

South Bay Holiday Park – Brixham, South Devon
A fantastic Big & Lively park, perfect for families, South Bay has DIRECT beach access to the stunning and secluded St Mary’s Bay. Accessed via 100 steep steps, it’s not for the faint hearted, but it’s certainly worth the descent. Think clear waters, soft sand and sensational views.
South Bay is also just a stone’s throw from Brixham harbour, where you can watch the boats come and go, explore the replica Hind ship museum and enjoy all the English Riviera has to offer.

Sandaway Beach Holiday Park – Combe Martin, North Devon
Perched dramatically atop the cliffs, this Family Friendly park has some of the best coastal views around! Not only do you have the fantastic family-friendly beach of Combe Martin just a short walk away, but you can skip the crowds and enjoy your own private beach with direct park access to Mermaid’s Cove.
Roll out your towel, have a paddle and let the dogs splash about in the sea, all from your doorstep. Climb back up to the park and enjoy a seaside sunset with a drink in hand. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Ruda Holiday Park – Croyde, North Devon
It doesn’t get much closer to the beach than Ruda. In just sixty seconds – trust us, we’ve timed it! – you can go from the park entrance to having your toes firmly in the Blue Flag sands of Croyde Beach. A hot-spot for surfers, Croyde has it all when it comes to combining waves and family fun.
Enjoy an ice-cream from our beachside shack, hire a board and wetsuit from our shop, or simply spend the day building sandcastles or rambling through rockpools with our Rangers. There’s something for everyone.

Perran View Holiday Park – Perranporth, North Cornwall
Okay so it’s not quite as doorstep-y as some of our other parks, but the ten minute drive to Perranporth beach from Perran View Holiday Park is certainly worth it. This Blue Flag beauty boasts three miles of golden sands, fantastic surf and all the space you and your family could ask for on a trip to the beach.

Cardigan Bay Holiday Park – Pembrokeshire, West Wales
Just a ten-minute walk from the scenic and tranquil beach of Poppit Sands, Cardigan Bay is perfectly placed for enjoying all the Pembrokeshire coast has to offer. It’s a hot spot for wildlife watching – think seals, sea birds and even dolphins!
Try your hand at water sports here, such as kayaking, paddle boarding and beginner-friendly surfing. There is a lifeguard presence throughout the summer months, making it perfect for family swim sessions. There are dog-friendly zones during the summer months, so make sure you’re aware of these if bringing your furry family members along for the adventure.
