Big days out in Devon this Easter
Spring is in the air, the days are getting longer, and the Easter holidays are just days away—we can almost taste the chocolate!
If you’re lucky enough to be joining us in Devon for a family caravan holiday this Easter then we’ve got some real treats for you! We’ve hopped about and hunted for some of the best family days out around Devon for your little chicks to enjoy.
Milky Way Adventure Park
One of Devon’s favourite family fun parks, the Milky Way Adventure Park has a host of hopping-great entertainment on. Included in the park entry tickets for children aged 1-11yrs, between 8th – 21st April, your little bunnies can experience their fantastic Easter grotto. Think Santa, but the Easter Bunny!
Solve puzzles and crack clues before you meet the head honcho themself, where your child will receive an Easter egg money box to decorate, complete with the chocolately good stuff.
The Milky Way Adventure Park is just outside of Bideford, North Devon. Close to our Widemouth Bay Caravan Park on the border to Devon.
Watermouth Castle
Eggsplorers at the ready, Watermouth Castle has plenty to keep the whole family busy this Easter. Meet the Easter Bunny, follow the egg trail around the park and get creative with some colouring fun. New since last season, the Hobbledown Play Village will wow children with its towers, bridges, slides and even a giant water pillow! There’s even 17 acres of dog-friendly gardens to explore – the pawfect day out for the whole family!

The Big Sheep
Your little lambs will have so much fun at The Big Sheep! Providing the real magic of springtime, you can meet the newborn lambs in the animal barn and even get a chance to bottle feed them during the interactive talks! Not to mention baby chicks and a host of other animals, eager to say hello.
Live shows including duck and sheep trials (not against each other might we add!) as well as learning all about livestock on the farm. Thrills for the bigger kids include Devon’s tallest rollercoaster, swan pedalos, twister ride and plenty of outdoor and indoor fun. You can even meet the Easter Bunny. (Yup, he gets around!)

RHS Rosemoor
If you fancy getting swept up amongst the spring flowers this Easter then a trip to RHS Rosemoor is a must. Children can get involved on a giant egg hunt, as well as becoming detectives to crack the egg-nigma code (for a small additional charge of £2.50 per child for a code-breaker pack and chocolate treat.) Search for coloured eggs, enjoy welly walks, face painting, arts and crafts, workshops and much more. Take a picnic and stop to smell the flowers on this horticultural holiday treat.

Babbacombe Model Village
Can you crack the Easter egg trail at Babbacombe Model Village? Lose yourself in the tiny world created here whilst you search for the colourful eggs scattered around the gardens. All successful detectives will receive a special gift at the end of their trail. The trail runs from 29th March to 27th April 2025.
The whole family can try their hand at the crazy golf course too – free to play with all admission tickets. With impressive models and scenery displays this is a magical day out for the whole family to enjoy this Easter.

Kents Cavern
Discover a magical glow-in-the-dark experience at the Caverns! Take a trip through the dark passageways, discovering glowing eggs along the way. A magical and beautiful experience for the whole family. Little explorers can receive a treat at the end of the trail if they find all the eggs on their hunt.
