The Big Sit: A chance for your dog to become a world record holder
Our North Devon holiday parks are on the doorstep of some fabulous dog friendly beaches and with seasonal restrictions now coming to an end, these stretches of sand are becoming even more popular for visitors to our dog friendly caravan parks.
There's an extra pull to a particular North Devon beach this weekend, when more than 100 dogs are expected to take on a world record attempt!
If you're in North Devon on your UK pet friendly holidays, you and your four-legged friend can get involved too, joining dogs and owners from all over the region aiming to break the world record for the most dogs sitting simultaneously for 30 seconds.
The Big Sit, which has been organised by Dogs Helping Kids founder Tracey Berridge, will be taking place Sunday September 28th, at 2.30pm on Saunton Beach.
This is the charity's second bite of the cherry, after narrowly missing out on the record last year by just four dogs.
Your dog must be registered with the charity before the day of the world record attempt. Registration forms can be acquired by contacting Tracey at tracey.mark@tberridge.fsnet. co.uk.
