Burnham-on-Sea Food & Drink Festival

For any foodies taking their cheap family holidays UK at Sandy Glade Holiday Park this weekend, I have the perfect event.

The Burnham-on-Sea Food and Drink Festival returns to the seaside town tomorrow, kicking the bank holiday weekend off nicely!

Streets will be lined with more than 80 stalls, connected by five indoor venues, celebrating the best food and drink from across Somerset.

The festival has something for everyone, and the whole family can visit free of charge during your cheap weekend breaks.

You'll be able to buy delicious Caribbean Jerk Chicken, BBQ ribs and my favourite of course, stone baked pizzas, along with local real ales and cheeses.

A treasure trail through the narrow streets will keep the kids busy before the entertaining 'Great Burnham Bib Off', involving parents and their under 5s.

There's also music from local musicians, workshops, competitions and cooking demonstrations. One of my favourite chefs Barry Lewis, who's very popular on YouTube, will be telling stories of his cooking journey to the crowds.
