Celebrating Somerset Day
Happy Somerset Day foxy friends!! We are excited to be celebrating Somerset Day at our Somerset holiday park this week! Officially marked on 11th May, Somerset Day unites those who live, work in and visit Somerset.
Historically known as 'the land of summer people' many have flocked to see the hidden treasures of Somerset including the stunning countryside, historic cities, cider and cheese tasting, festivals and cultures and the beautiful sandy beaches.
Somerset Day recognises all that is good within the county and encourages relationships between local communities and business.
There are lots of events going on throughout Somerset over the weekend with something for all of the family. You can enjoy; Somerset Day at the West Somerset Railway, Beer & Cheese Festival, Lower Westcombe Farm, Somerset Flag Making at The Museum of Somerset, Thatchers Gold Treasure Hunt, Wells Cathedral Evensong for Somerset, Cider and Cheese Night at Wincanton Racecourse and much more.
We are lucky enough to have a fantastic holiday site with a range of UK holiday accommodation in Somerset. The extensive variety of accommodation includes caravans, chalets and lodges. We want to make your Somerset holidays affordable for everybody, therefore we grade our accommodation from top of the range platinum for extra luxury through to our value range which provides comfort. We also offer a range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom accommodation so we have plenty of room for couples or enough room for larger families.
Our Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset has plenty of open space for the kids to run free alongside a fantastic indoor pool with water jets and fountains and an adventure playground. In the evenings you can take a trip to our clubhouse for fun and games and a great entertainment line up.
