Coastal towns around our holiday parks in Cornwall to receive funding
Coastal towns, where many of our caravan parks in Cornwall are based, received some super news this week, and I'm happy to share it with you guys on my blog.
15 communities will receive £10,000, rising to a potential £50,000, as the government confirmed a windfall from its Coastal Revival Fund. The grant is to be used for regeneration projects in the respective towns.
These towns include â Bude, Falmouth, Hayle, Looe, Newquay, Penzance, Porthcurno, Porthtowan, Portreath, Saltash, St Austell, St Endellion, St Ives, Torpoint and Wadebridge.

The money will compensate work already being done by Cornwall Council, town councils and the local people and businesses.
Coastal Communities Minister, Mark Francois, said: "Coastal Community Teams will help decide where that investment goes because local people know best what is needed to grow their local economy. We are backing them with £1 million of direct support and the Budget also confirmed last week that at least £90 million more will be spent in the coming years through the Coastal Community Fund, which these teams will have access to.â
With these coastal locations so close to our holiday parks, are you looking forward to seeing the changes come to fruition during your caravan holidays in Cornwall?
