Crash Box & Classic Car Club celebrating 50th anniversary in St Ives

Coming from a country that manufactures supercars like Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis, I can appreciate a beautiful motor when I see one!

And you can too if you if you're taking your weekend breaks UK at St Ives Holiday Village.

From today, Tregenna Castle Hotel is opening for Crash Box & Classic Car Club's 50^th anniversary.

On Sunday Tregenna and Classic Car Club are hosting an open morning, this will give members of the general public a chance to get up close and personal with the rare classic cars. The public are also welcome to take in the 72-acre grounds and explore the sub-tropical and woodland areas.

Operations director of Tregenna Castle Hotel, James Parker said: “We are delighted to be playing host to all of these stunning classic cars.”

“If the weather stays like this it will be a lovely weekend to come and see the cars. We can't wait to welcome the public and welcome the classic cars club.”

Also planned for the weekend is a 50-mile drive around Cornwall, which will take in some of the county's most picturesque spots, followed by dinner with a firework finale.

Proceeds from the weekend's events will go to the South Cornwall Branch of Multiple Sclerosis.
