Dog selfies raise money for North Devon based K9 Focus

‘No makeup selfies’ was a recent trend that swept Facebook, raising £8m for Cancer Research in just 6 days. Although I wasn’t nominated myself, I still pledged my £3 to the deserving charity.

North Devon based dog rescue charity K9 Focus is hoping to have success with their own fun idea - dog selfies.

Dog selfies | John Fowler dog friendly holidays

If you’re enjoying your dog friendly holidays UK in North Devon, you have an ideal setting to snap the perfect selfies. You can capture your dog splashing around in the shallows or sat watching the sun setting over the ocean. So far 50 adorable selfies have been received, some as far as France and Scotland.

Dog owners can post their dog’s selfies on the K9 Focus Facebook page while also contributing £3 to the charity. This will go towards the sole aim of rescuing and rehoming unwanted and abandoned dogs. Posters are also urged to ‘dognominate’ other owners to do the same.

Donations to the charity can be made by text, sending PUDS14 plus the amount to 70070, or by visiting their website here www.k9focus.co.uk.
