Exciting line-up to mark Devon County Show 25th anniversary

Hey everyone, it’s Freddy!

The 119th annual Devon County Show kicks off this week, marking the 25th anniversary at Exeter’s Westpoint showground.

A massive 95,000 people are expected over the 3 days and there’s good news for those staying at caravan sites in Devon, as tickets are still available.

Organisers are determined to mark the occasion in style with a quality line-up announced alongside the traditional farming, food and countryside shows.

Those on their caravan holidays in Devon with tickets already will witness a jaw-dropping stunt show from Australian quad bike acrobats Kangaroo Kids! Matt Coulter and son Sam will take centre stage in the Mole Valley Farmers main arena to wow the crowds with gravity-defying jumps and much more.

Elsewhere at the event, Savage Skills, the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team, will be flying through the air showing off a range of unbelievable tricks – I’ve seen these guys before and they’re awesome!

You can always guarantee a host of fun at the Devon County Show and this year it comes from Wacky Nation who will be running World Fruit & Veg Boules Championships – yep, you heard me right!

Just think English lawn bowls with fruit and vegetable. But it won’t be as easy as rolling an orange at a jack, players will draw a fruit at random with some more challenging than others!
