Exciting schedule for 3rd annual St Agnes Outsid’er Festival
Well...what a cracking Easter weekend that was (no pun intended)! Beautiful sunshine, copious amounts of chocolate, and plenty of events staged in and around our Cornwall holiday parks.
But the fun doesn't stop there, as an exciting and varied programme is on offer at the 3rd annual St Agnes Outsid'er Festival, this weekend.
The 3-day festival kicks off Friday 10th April, as artist-in-residence Tony Plant turns beaches into canvases. The local born artist is well known for his sand drawings and he'll be at Outsid'er to do his thing on the beaches of Porthtowan and Chapel Porth over the festival weekend. You can also get involved, by giving Tony a hand at Trevaunance Cove, close to Perran View Holiday Park, on the Saturday afternoon. Tony will also be inviting people to join his new Creative Colony Project, as virtual mapmakers.
TV personality and presenter of BBC Gardeners World, Joe Swift, will be on hand to give '25 Years of Garden Design in 45 Minutes' â you'll be going home from your holidays in Cornwall with some invaluable gardening tips. Following the workshop Joe will be holding a short Q&A session, so get those questions prepared!
Elsewhere over the weekend you can take in the Salt Road Show, Wacky Races competition, star gazing on the beacon, Cornish language heritage walk, surf cinema, skate ramps, bike tours, photography scavenger hunt, beast feast and bonfire, plus a whole lot more for all ages!
The Outsid'er is all about enjoying the outdoors, getting stuck in and trying new things. If this sounds like an event you and the whole family would enjoy, visit www.st-agnes.com/whats-on/view/the-outsider-st-agnes-outdoor-festival for booking information and a full line-up programme.
