Explore North Devon this May with the Exmoor Coast Festival

One of the main draws for our Devon holiday parks is the spectacular North Devon and Exmoor coastline. Exploring this is a must, and for visitors to this area this May, I have just the event to help you!

The Exmoor Coast Festival, running from Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 31st May, encapsulates everything about this awesome coastline, with a host of mini-events and activities spanning the 9 days.

For the adrenaline junkies like me, activities include coasteering near Ilfracombe, rock climbing at Lynton, mountain biking from Porlock and sea kayaking near our Combe Martin holiday parks.

For the less daring, you can find anything from coastal and countryside walks, to exhibitions, garden open days, fishing, music and photography.

Exmoor Coast Festival Organiser, Bryan Cath, said: "The range of events on offer is astonishing and we do hope that people will come along and join in as many as possible."

Children will also be able to get stuck in throughout the week, with special Grom Squad activities tailored to 8-16 year olds, as well as a sandcastle competition and charity duck race.

I want to know how you guys are getting involved? You can’t return home from your caravan holidays in Devon without taking part in a sandcastle competition, surely?! Or maybe you like the sound of coasteering near our Ilfracombe holiday parks?
