Family fun at Trereife House Easter food & craft fair

The Easter food & craft fair returns to Trereife House for a 4^th successive year on the 18^th April.

The 4 day event at the historic Queen Anne manor house features a range of cookery and craft demonstrations as well as a programme of live music and entertainment.

I can't wait for the local chefs' entertaining food demonstrations – I might even be able to teach them a thing or two on traditional Italian cookery! All of the ingredients on show will be local produce and available to buy after, so you can enjoy them while on your cheap Easter weekend breaks.

During past events, Trereife has attracted some of the finest local food producers and that trend is set to continue this year. Larger marquees will be setup to host a range of producers, from Cadgwith Smokies to Worthy Farm Cheeses. Locally produced beer, cider and wine will also be available.

Event coordinator Rob Lewis says: “The aim of these demonstrations is to promote locally sourced and sustainably produced ingredients, showing that Cornish is best.”

Not forgetting the youngsters, you can set them off on the grand Easter egg hunt - within the woods and around the walled garden.

The fair is 1 mile from Kenegie Manor and will be open from 10am-5pm Friday 18^th April to Monday 21^st April. Adult entry fee is £3.50, children £2 and under 5s are FREE! 2 adult and 3 children family tickets are available at £11.
