Freddy’s Favourite 5: Cornwall Events for the Chocoholics
You can never have TOO many Easter eggs, right guys...?
I'm super lucky that I get an Easter egg from each member of the Foxy Gang, but my competitive streak tempts me to challenge for more chocolate every year, and there's plenty of events out and about from our Cornwall holiday parks for me to do that.
I'm here to give you all the mouth-watering details and to save you valuable time sniffing out these chocolatey events.
Below are my favourite 5...
1. Easter at The Lost Gardens
First on my list is an eggstra special programme of Easter activities at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Festivities kick-off this Friday, 25th March, and run throughout the Easter holiday until Sunday 10th April.
The Lost Gardens' Great Emu Egg Hunt runs daily, 10am-5pm, and challenges you to become an explorer. Search the Northern Gardens and Pleasure Grounds high and low trying to spot the special turquoise eggs, meeting the garden's very own Emus after.
Elsewhere you can get crafty with Heligan's Easter workshops, watch baby chicks and ducklings hatch before your very eyes or feed the chickens in the Poultry Orchard.
2. Paradise Park Easter Egg Hunt
Spring is a great time to visit Paradise Park, not just for the baby animals and hatchlings, but for the Easter Egg Hunt too!
From 25th March to 10th April, the whole family are welcome to rummage around the Park for clues, discovering dinosaur eggs along the way and answering questions that lead to a chocolate prize.
Easter also signifies the beginning of the Eagles of Paradise Display and Free Flying Bird Show. These give you the chance to see birds like Archie the Bald Eagle up close as they fly by.
3. Eden Project's Easter Eggstravaganza
The Eden Project is a popular attraction all year round for visitors to our caravan parks in Cornwall, and that'll be no different this Easter with all the sweet treats on offer.
Easter themed activities are being held across the site, with the highlights being the Giant ObstEGGcle Course, the Eden Easter Trail, Over-Easy Egg Hunt and Splat an Egg.
Also returning is the annual Great Golden Egg Hunt. As you walk around Eden keep your eyes peeled for the golden eggs. There will be 20 scattered throughout the attraction and if you're lucky enough to discover one, you can claim your special prize from the EGGs-change.
4. Flambards BIG Easter Egg Hunt
My mate Ferdi the Fox is running a BIG Easter Egg Hunt over at Flambards this Sunday 27th March â it's worth checking out guys!
Explore the theme park and see how many Easter eggs you can pick up along the way. Winners will get a chocolate treat from Ferdi himself.
Make sure you jump on some of the exhilarating rides while you're there â the Skyraker is awesome!
5. Egg-citing Easter Entertainment at John Fowler Holidays
As always, the Foxy Gang are hosting an abundance of chocolate coated activities and crafts for you guys on your Cornwall caravan holidays.
You can expect Easter egg decorating, basket and card making, egg hunts, our much anticipated chocolate party plus LOTS more.
How can I forget Trixie's birthday too?! Shhh...she didn't hear that did she? There's lots of fun and games to get involved in for our bunny's birthday.
