Gluten free Cornish pasty launched in Helston

Ciao boys and girls! The one thing I love to eat the most on my Cornwall holidays are Cornish pasties and I have just found out some fantastico news! After four years in development a family bakery has launched which they have declared is the worlds first official gluten free Cornish pasty.

This product is being offered by the Helston-based Good Food Bakery which is officially certified by Coeliac UK. From its new specialist premises, the family run bakery are using a range of secret ingredients as well as products such as rice flour and vegetable fat. 

Every order is hand-made in the artisan bakery and immediately placed in the state-of-the-art blast freezer to ensure maximum freshness is maintained. Staff from the bakery hit the streets of Falmouth to invite the public to try the new range to celebrate their official launch.
