With one week left at our Devon holiday parks until we close for the season you won't be short of things to do this half term! With a selection of scary, fun and spooky surprises at all of Devon's top attractions there will be something to keep everyone entertained. Here are my top 5 October half term activities:
The BIG Sheep Annual Halloween Festival - The BIG Sheep doors creak open each day at 10am from Saturday 22nd October until Sunday 30 October promising fun and laughter for all the family to enjoy Halloween. Activities include; Weekday Phantomime, Haunted House, Fancy Dress Competitions, Pumpkin Carving Workshops and the Ghost Train.
Underground Pumpkin Hunt at Kents Cavern - With regular tours throughout the day, there is no need to book, just turn up and collect your activity sheets! Head on a cave tour to take part in the underground pumpkin hunt, count the number of pumpkins correctly to receive a prize.
Woodlands Family Theme Park- Head to Woodlands for a week of spooky activities and trick or treats. Explore Marty's Monster disco on October 28 and mysterious surprises around Monster Manor. Ezmeralda the Wicked Witch of Woodlands has planned some spooktacular activities such as broomstick training, creepy crawly photo opportunities and party games and dances.
Pennywell Farm - Hosting a week of 'Jollyween activities', turning October's darkest day into light-hearted fun. At Pennywell Farm you can experience a variety of pumpkin fun and hilarious activities to enjoy, and Marshall from Paw Patrol will be making his first appearance at Pennywell on October 27.
Donkey Sanctuary - This October half term there will be lots of spooky goings-on at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, carve your own pumpkin to take home (parental supervision is required) and enjoy some fangtastic face painting. On Saturday 29 October 2016, celebrate the Family Learning Festival with free, educational, Donkey Interaction and Bat Beacon sessions.
