How to make the ultimate Brussel Sprout
Seasons greetings Foxy friends! I have been working on perfecting the ultimate Christmas dinner here at our Devon, Cornwall and Somerset holiday parks (I don't stop cooking even when the season is over!). Love them or hate them Brussels sprouts are a traditional part of Christmas lunch and I wanted to share with you my tips how to jazz up the humble Brussel sprout.
Using chesnuts, shallots and sage fry these ingredients in butter then stir through your boiled sprouts.
A common sprout with a twist
Using simple flavours, soften onions and ground nutmeg into butter fry some breadcrumbs then toss through your sprouts.
Shred the sprouts and pan fry them with garlic and pancetta, this is one even the haters might be able to swallow!
