Ilfracombe Carnival 2016!
We are getting very excited here at our Ilfracombe holiday parks as we prepare for the 2016 Ilfracombe carnival this Sunday 28th August! With a diverse mix of floats that will keep you entertained all evening, the awesome event raises funds for local charities and is a fun night for all of the family!
If you are staying at one of our North Devon holiday parks over the bank holiday weekend head down and join the fun! The road will close at 18:00 prompt and the parade will leave Hillsborough Swimming Pool at 18:30pm. The parade travels along Hillsborough Road, Portland Street, High Street, Church Street, turns right at Wilder Road along the Seafront, down St James Place arriving on Broad Street at approximately 8pm.
It is still not too late to enter the parade as late entries are accepted at the start point up to 5.30pm on the day. Application forms for parade entries can also be obtained from and returned to Ilfracombe Tourist Information Centre, St James Dairy Coversure Insurance or Tinker Tailor Party Shop or by emailing events@visitilfracombe.co.uk .
