Land’s End strike deal with Shaun The Sheep
Hello!
I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again...Land's End is one the top days out near our Cornwall holiday parks and that opinion's echoed by plenty of families I speak to who stay with us.
After this latest news I'm hearing, I have a feeling it's about to become even more popular with you guys...
Land's End has struck a deal to bring Shaun The Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and friends to the most south-westerly point of the UK!
The historic attraction will be transformed into Lamb's End after a deal was agreed between the site's owners, Heritage Great Britain Plc, and Aardman Animations. The partnership will lead to a brand new interactive family experience worth a huuuge £500,000.
The 'Shaun the Sheep Experience' will offer visitors the chance to explore Mossy Bottom Farm and the Naughty Pig's Sty, with original sets, models and characters from the BAFTA and Academy award-winning productions. With the help of quality green screen technology you can even star in a real Shaun the Sheep scene!
Allan Leech from Heritage Great Britain said: âWe're absolutely thrilled to be bringing a world class attraction to Land's End and to work with the legendary Aardman studio.
âThe plans look stunning and we're confident the experience will become a must visit attraction for tourists to the landmark site.
âWith more than half a million visitors to Land's End every year we recognise the there is an opportunity to help deliver a unique attraction to such a famous landmark,â added David Sproxton CBE, co-founder of Aardman Attractions.
The attraction is scheduled to open February 2015 and set to be a big hit for visitors on holidays in Cornwall, following the release of Shaun the Sheep The Movie.
