Paper Dolly Fashion Show

Hello my lovelys, it's Paxo.

I am really missing get out to the fashion shows to see all the lastest trends so I decided to make my own fashion dolls that I could dress up in my own fabulous designs. It's easy to do and you should have everything you need at home. 

You will need:

• A4 piece of sugar paper, card or printer paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Felt tip pens
• Materials to dress your doll. This can include scraps of fabric, ribbons, tissue paper, tin foil, felt, pipe cleaners, tinsel, stickers etc

Fold your piece of paper in half lengthways and cut down the middle. Take half of the paper and fold into the middle, take the outside edge of the top half and fold it back into the middle. Turn your paprt over and fold the outside edge into the middle. Take the outside edge and fold the top layer back to the middle, turn over and do the same the other side. Open it back out so the centre fold is visible, fold the ouside back into the middle on each side. Finally, fold the 2 outer edges back on themselves so you have an accordian fold. you should have 8 segments.

Lay your paper down with the folder edge to the right. Draw half of your doll on the left hand side of the paper making sure their arms reach to the outer right edge. Cut around the outline of your doll without cutting through any folds. When you unfold the paper, you should have 4 dolls linked at their hands.

Now for the fun part! You can get really creative designing outfits for wach of your dolls. Draw a face on them and give them some hair.  If you want a bigger chain of dolls, you can do it again and just secure the hands of the two chains together using sticky tape.
