Pet Friendly Holidays in Cornwall
Hey my awesome Foxy friends! I'm just chilling at our Cornwall holiday park watching the first day of Crufts and I just can't believe how cool all of these dogs are!
Crufts is the largest dog show in the world to show off the huge talents of these amazing creatures and here at John Fowler Holidays we know your pets are a huge part of your family. It is important to be able to take your furry friend on pet friendly holidays and we offer a wide selection of pet friendly accommodation.
Cornwall is a fantastic place to bring your dog on holiday with miles of coastal and rural paths to explore. Here are my favourite pet friendly beaches near our Cornwall caravan parks.
- Perranporth Beach â Just 2 miles from our Perran View Holiday Park, Perranporth Beach has 3 miles of golden sand and sheltering dunes, dog friendly all year round and is pretty impressive. Dogs must be kept on the lead from 9am-5pm in July & August. Perranporth beach has brilliant facilities and there are two dog friendly pubs, the Wateringhole on the beach and The Senners overlooking the beach.
- Widemouth Bay â The south side of Widemouth Bay Beach is dog friendly all year round and just round the corner from Widemouth Bay Caravan Park and 3 miles from Bude. You can also visit the Bay View Inn which does excellent food and they welcome dogs into the bar and beer garden.
- Talland Bay Beach â With lots of rock pools for doggy paddles Talland Bay is a small and quiet beach with two beaches in the middle of Looe & Polperro. This beach is dog friendly all year round and with seating along the coastal path The Talland Bay Beach Cafe is the perfect place to take a break after a long walk with the dog. Talland Bay Beach is only 1.7 miles from Trelawne Manor and just over 2 miles from Killigarth Manor.
- Porthkidney Sands Beach â This picturesque beach is backed by sand dunes and is the neighbouring beach to the famous Carbis Bay Beach, only 2 miles from St Ives Holiday Village and 3 miles from Tolroy Manor. Porthkidney Sands is dog friendly all year round. This beach is also situated a short walk away from the extremely dog friendly South West Coast Path, which then proceeds to St Ives.
I would love to see pictures of your dogs on holiday, at the beach or on your favourite walks, so why not post them to our Facebook page!
