Summer is the perfect time to pack up, head to the coast and pitch up! Nothing beats enjoying your morning coffee with a beautiful view out to sea, or collapsing back into your bed at camp after a wonderful day spent at the nearby beach.
We have two fantastic holiday parks offering a variety of camping and touring options for you this summer.
Ruda Holiday Park – Croyde, North Devon
If you’re into surfing – or even fancy having your first lesson – then Ruda is the place to be. Just a sixty second walk from the campsite you can have your toes in the sand, board in the water or ice-cream in your hand!
There are local surf schools for those looking to hone their skills, we have our own hire shop for those who want to space save on boards and wetsuits, and we even have an ice-cream shop beachside, so the kids (and adults) will be happy.
With a number of camping fields available, Ruda caters for tents – with or without electric hook-up – campervans, touring and motorhomes on grass or hardstanding pitches. Your dog is welcome too - in selected areas. Enjoy our most recent and biggest investment, our brand new camping & touring shower block with integrated laundry facilities and wash-up area. You’ll be welcomed at our new camping & touring office block, complete with shop for all your last minute camping accessories and necessities.
Campers have full use of all the park’s facilities, including tropical fun pool, a host of eateries, and the Showbar – all your kids’ and evening entertainment happens here!

Widemouth Bay Caravan Park – Bude, North Cornwall
Overlooking the beautiful bay of Widemouth, this park is great for those who love water sports and days spent at the beach. Just a short walk from the park – or an even shorter drive – you can enjoy your summer holidays making sand castles, trying your hand at surfing or exploring a host of Cornish cafes.
On park you’ll find everything you need for a summer camping adventure, with hot shower facilities, wetsuit – and dog – washing stations, and sea views to write home about! Pitches range from non-electric hook-ups for tents, through to hardstanding electric hook-ups for motorhomes, tourers and campervans.
Campers have full use of the park’s facilities, including the heated indoor swimming pool with FREE kids’ activities, crazy golf course and tranquil woodland walk that your four-legged friend with love! Enjoy FREE kids’ clubs during the day and family entertainment during the evenings.

Back to basics not your style, but still looking to get closer to nature? Why not try one of our glamping tents? Both Ruda and Widemouth are home to these stylish safari-style tents, complete with kitchenette, electricity and some even with their own shower and toilet!
