Seafront Improvements in Burnham-on-Sea

Hello my old friends, this week at our caravan parks in Somerset we have heard the brilliant news of a major improvement programme on the seafront at Burnham-on-Sea.

Sedgemoor District Council is investing the cash to spruce up facilities on the seafront close to our Somerset holiday park. Phase one – set to start by the end of June – will see scaffolding going up around shelters on the South Esplanade, starting at the Yacht club end, to repair and paint the shelters.

Each shelter will be done individually so that two shelters will always be available. In phase two, the same will happen with the three shelters along the North Esplanade, starting at the Seaview Road end.

The external showers and foot washers will be replaced and minor repairs are set to be carried out on the life guard hut and TIC toilets, which is fantastic for all of our guests on their caravan holidays in Somerset and the local economy.
