Things to do in Devon this May Half Term
Hey my foxy friends, May half term begins today for most schools in Devon and there are loads of things to keep you all entertained near our Devon caravan parks. Here our our top things to do around Devon this Whitsun week:
The Milky Way - The Milky Way have a brand new attraction for this season the 'Gravity Rider'. at around 30ft tall and 200ft long, this two lane donut slide is guaranteed to give a fast, fun and exhilarating ride for both children and adults!
You can also step back in with the time travellers from 26th May, take the challenges and solve the clues to help the professor repair his time machine before it's to late!
Woodlands - Get ready for Dino Week between 26th of May and 3rd of June and encounter dinosaurs in their natural habitat at the Dino Trek attraction. Embark on an expedition like no other and get up close and personal with these prehistoric creatures, including Roary the brand new interactive dinosaur!
Exmoor Zoo - Head down to Exmoor Zoo this half term to experience wildlife from around the world, from the creepy crawlies of the Amazon to the wobbly wallaby joeys of Australia there are plenty of hands on activities with the animals for you to take part in. Kids can also take part in a free quiz and a receive a free goody bag which focuses on the conservation projects at the zoo.
Waves Leisure Pool - With a unique sloping floor, water heated to 30°C, flume and wave machine, Waves Leisure Pool offers a range of activities for all ages. You will be spoilt for choice with their famous fun session, swimming lessons, courses and classes, whatever the weather Waves is great fun for all of the family!
The Big Sheep - Jam packed with fun this half term, The Big Sheep has 11 hilarious shows for adults and children to enjoy, along with their huge indoor play area, the Rampage rollercoaster, twister ride, tractor ride, swan peddles and much more. As well as all the usual sheepy fun, from 26th - 28th May you will be able to take part in BUBBLE fun! Captain Coconut will be attempting to break a world record on 26th May. Why not have a go yourself in bubble making workshops during the weekend!
Escape Paignton - If you are looking for an all weather attraction this half term head down to Escape Paignton where you will be locked in a room and have 60 minutes to escape. Unlock the mysteries of the Seven Seas, solve the puzzles and escape the room before your time is up!
