Two New-born African Lion Cubs Arrive in Somerset

Hey Foxy friends! We are very excited at our Somerset holiday parks, to hear the awesome news that the two African Lion cubs born at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in August, are both boys! the cubs were born at the Somerset attraction on the 20th August and until now the keepers have had no interaction with them, giving mum, Arusha, space to bond with them. At 10 weeks old the cubs needed their first vaccinations and their initial health check from the vet.

The next stage for the Somerset zoo is to name the two cubs, and they need your help! Both lion parents are named after places in Africa and apart from sticking with that theme the choice is yours. Imagine being at one of our caravan parks in Somerset and visiting the zoo where you named the lion?! All you need to do is submit your name suggestion on Noah's Ark Zoo Farm Facebook page and the winners will get the exciting opportunity to take part in a Big Cat Keeper Experience at the zoo.

We are taking bookings for Somerset holidays already for 2019 so get your holiday accommodation booked so you can go and visit these Somerset beauties!
