VIDEO: Magical Cornwall lit up during winter festivals

Your UK family holidays may have come too early in the year to experience winter in the Duchy, but Visit Cornwall has done an awesome job of capturing the magic for you!

In an enchanting video montage, the leading Cornwall tourist board show how Cornwall has been brought to life with light this December.

If you've spent your UK short breaks in the region, some familiar places will be popping up throughout. Featured in the video is the Montol Festival in Penzance, ice skating at the Eden Project, Mousehole and Padstow harbour lights, fireworks over St Ives and lantern processions through some of Cornwall's most famous streets.
